If you have voicemail, callers can leave you a message if you're on the phone or away from home.
We don't enable voicemail by default, so please get in touch if you'd like to add this to your Now account.
Some phones have voicemail built in. If yours does, you'll need to choose to use your phone's voicemail, or Now's voicemail as having both enabled can cause issues. If you're unsure whether your phone has voicemail built in, have a look for the box/manual or let us know the make and model.
How do I use voicemail?
From your Now landline, dial 081122. As we know that you're calling from your address, you won't have to enter your voicemail PIN.
If you're calling from your mobile, or another landline, still call 081122, however you'll be asked for both your landline number and PIN.
If you have forgotten or do not know your PIN, please get in touch with us and we can reset it for you.
How do I know if someone has left me a voice message?
Your phone will beep before you hear dialtone. This isn't a fault on your line, rather us letting you know to check your voice messages.
If your phone supports a message indicator, it may also display a voicemail light/message on the handset itself.
We will also send you an email with the voice message attached. If you do not want this feature enabled, let us know.
How do I call Now's voicemail from overseas?
Easy! Just dial +64 6 650 0000 instead of the national 081122 number.
